Airway Maps

Clients Mission Statement

"The Airway Mapping Center in Seoul, South Korea is a non-profit organization that promotes civic engagement and empowerment using location-based technology."

Research

When meeting with the organizations founders from around the world in the org (Future without a poverty). They educated me on the process a non-profit project takes as budgeting and applying for grants. The grant the organization was applying for was National Geographic. My role amongst the engineers and public health student was to create a website for the org, and graphics for social media.

Image above is from my final presentation the (SWOT analysis) slide.

Insights

The organization has been around for 24 yrs, but lacks a visual record of their past achievements from the UNT campus.
Solution = Implementation of a website and social media page would enable more traction to gain volunteers.

Concept

The design concept was geared towards to audience of children who are going to be empowered through learning about clean air. There areas these monitors were placed to be study were strategically places in India, Korea, and Mexico as these areas in the world struggle with air pollution. To combate future generations dealing with even worse air quality conditions the organization Airway Maps aims to educate the youth.

Design

To introduce the grant and package of study materials; I created a video to display the importance of air quality control to children. With a stop motion technique to catch the attention of the young audience.
